Library Opens for 40 Hours per Week

As of Oct. 11, with the start of Bedford's 2006 fiscal year, the library will be open 40 hours a week. In April, thanks to the wonderful anonymous donor, the library opened for 21 hours a week. Hours later expanded to 32 and then 37, thanks to the fundraising efforts of the community, including the Friends, several local businesses and the "I'm Backing Bedford" program.
